Are you a Structures Foreperson
with a strong background in commercial new builds?
We are seeking a highly skilled leader to drive the structural phase of major projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on site.
The Role:
As a Structures Foreperson, you will oversee all structural works, including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete, ensuring smooth operations from foundation to topping out. Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Team, you’ll coordinate trades, maintain safety standards, and drive project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all structural works, including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pours
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades, ensuring quality and program compliance
- Lead daily site operations, safety procedures, and toolbox talks
- Work closely with engineers, site managers, and project teams to maintain project schedules
- Ensure compliance with NCC, BCA, and WHS regulations
- Problem-solve construction challenges and keep work on track
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Structures Foreperson on commercial new build projects - minimum 3 years
- Strong knowledge of formwork, steel fixing, and concrete
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive productivity while maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
- Trade background in carpentry, concreting, or a related field preferred
