THE CLIENT:
Our client is a leading name in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, undertaking a major upgrade at their Braeside facility. They are seeking an experienced SENIOR SITE / PROJECT MANAGER
to oversee the live-site fit-out, ensuring compliance with stringent health and safety regulations while working in a highly controlled environment.
THE ROLE:
This is a minimum two-year fixed-term contract
and will see you managing the full construction lifecycle of a pharmaceutical factory upgrade
within a live manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Site and Project Management Experience in commercial, industrial, or fit-out projects
- Experience with working in a regulated, live environments
- Fitout experience with manufacturing, pharmaceutical or healthcare builds would be ideal
- Ability to manage subcontractors on a daily basis
- Strong knowledge of compliance and safety regulations
- Excellent stakeholder management – ability to collaborate with engineers, maintenance, and process improvement teams
- Problem-solving mindset – ability to manage ambiguity and evolving project requirements
- Up to $200K + super

THE ENVIRONMENT:
This role is within a unionised manufacturing facility, requiring a construction professional who can navigate a highly regulated workplace, adapt to changes, and liaise effectively with internal teams. You’ll report directly to the Engineering Director and collaborate with process engineers, facilities teams, and senior stakeholders.
