About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Carpenter
with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
to join their team for an exciting new project based in Manly Vale. This is a hands-on role, requiring a skilled carpenter with solid experience in alterations and structural work. The first project will involve alterations and minor structural additions to a ground floor house valued at $500K.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-site carpentry work including framing, finishing, and structural alterations.
- Daily engagement with the site supervisor to ensure high-quality standards and project timelines are met.
- All materials handling and ordering will be managed by the site supervisor, allowing you to focus on carpentry work.
- Ensuring compliance with OHS protocols; prior experience with workplace safety and procedures is essential.
- Work collaboratively with other trades as directed by the site supervisor, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience as a qualified carpenter.
- Proven ability to manage various carpentry tasks, including framing and finishing.
- Experience in both large renovations and minor alterations.
- Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Must be physically fit and capable of working on-site every day.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
