Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality carpentry work, including repairs, alterations, and maintenance for residential and commercial buildings.
- Specialize in remedial waterproofing, repairing water damage in existing buildings. Common methods include crack injection, membrane installation, joint sealing, and concrete repairs.
- Address issues such as rising damp, leaks, and water ingress in critical areas like roofs, balconies, and basements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices in every project.
- Collaborate with other trades and construction teams to achieve optimal results.
- Proven experience as a remedial carpenter in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in waterproofing techniques and products (essential).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of Sydney’s building regulations and standards.
