We are JV Recruitment, currently on the lookout for highly skilled Carpenters for high-end residential projects across Sydney. We are currently looking for highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential Carpenters for multiple projects throughout Sydney`s Eastern suburbs and Northern Beaches. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of Sydney’s most sought-after residential projects, focusing on exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced Residential Carpenters with expertise in all aspects of residential carpentry, from framing to high-end finish and fit-out work. As a successful candidate, you will be working on various high-end residential projects across Sydney, providing top-tier craftsmanship in a range of carpentry tasks. Some of these projects may take place in live environments where people are still living in the property, so excellent client-facing skills, respect for clients, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work area are essential.
Additionally, we are looking for people with drive and ambition, as there may be opportunities for growth into a Foreperson or Leading Hand role as the projects progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all aspects of residential carpentry work, including but not limited to framing, cladding, decking, flooring, and cabinetry.
- Perform high-end detailed finish and fit-out work, ensuring impeccable precision and craftsmanship.
- Interpret and work from construction drawings, blueprints, and plans to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure the smooth progress of each project.
- Ensure work is completed safely, to specification, and within set timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide input and suggestions to improve project quality and efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Residential Carpenter, with a portfolio of high-end residential projects.
- Highly skilled in all aspects of residential carpentry, from rough framing to intricate finish carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
- High standard of work with an emphasis on delivering quality finishes.
- Own tools and reliable transportation.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Cert III in Carpentry
- Previous experience working on luxury residential or high-end custom projects.
- Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
- Pay will vary between $50 - $70+ depending on whether you are being paid under TFN (Tax File Number) or ABN (Australian Business Number).
