Join a Leader in Remedial Construction: Experienced Contracts Manager

JV Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project or Contracts Manager to join a leading client in the Commercial & Remedial construction sector, specialising in cladding replacement for fire safety.

This full-time role is crucial to the successful delivery of impactful projects. You'll play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards through effective contract management and project oversight.

Start Date: Immediate. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and design documents.
  • Manage contractual obligations seamlessly, ensuring all milestones and compliance requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, schedules, and project documentation.

About You:

  • You bring a solid foundation of contracts management or project management experience within the construction industry.
  • Ideally, you have a background with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
  • You're proficient in contract administration, risk management, and project documentation.
  • A qualification in Construction Management, Law, or Engineering is a plus, but not essential.
  • You possess a strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and best practices in project management.
  • You can confidently interpret and apply complex contractual terms and conditions.
  • Strong written communication skills are required.
